Our Society

Eastleigh Borough and Romsey MENCAP Society is your local society affiliated to the National MENCAP Society. We run a number of activities in the region aimed at supporting people with learning disabilities who live with their families, in supported housing or independently.

The Society is run by volunteers, and employs 4 members of staff.

Michelle Bonnel is our Development Officer. Her role is to identify needs, obtain funding and organise projects and activities to meet those needs. She also represents the Society at a variety of different meetings, ensuring that the needs of local people with learning disabilities are kept at the forefront of thinking in Hampshire Adult and Children Services.

Membership is £10.00 per year. You will receive a Newsflash every 2 months, and will be the first to hear about new projects and opportunities. This fee includes membership of the Royal MENCAP Society.

If you live in a MENCAP house you may join for a reduced fee. Contact us for further details.
