We are absolutely delighted and deeply grateful to have been chosen as the President’s Charity of the Year by the Southampton & District Women’s Bowling Association.
At their Presentation Luncheon on Friday 10th October, held at Fleming Park Bowling Club, our Chair Elaine was honoured to receive a cheque for £1,500 from Association President Ann Milne.
This wonderful total was raised through coin collections, raffles, and the sale of bowls cloths at bowling events throughout the summer – a fantastic demonstration of community spirit, teamwork, and generosity.
Elaine expressed heartfelt thanks to Ann and all the Association’s members for their kindness and dedication, explaining how their support will make a real difference in helping us keep our clubs running and continue the vital work we do across the community.
We’re also pleased to share some lovely photos from the Presentation Luncheon, as well as from the President’s Fun Day, held at County Bowling Club on 17 August – both joyful celebrations of friendship and shared purpose.
